My cat hates being brushed — will this work?
Yes. It's designed specifically for them. The soft mist transforms the sensation of brushing from scratching to stroking. Many cats that have previously run from every brush calm down and stay still. We recommend starting without the mist a few times so your cat gets used to the brush before you introduce it.
Is the water mist safe for my cat or dog?
Completely safe. It's not hot steam, it's a cool water mist made of nothing but water. It doesn't burn, doesn't irritate the skin, and won't over-wet the coat. You can use regular tap water or purified water.
Will it actually reduce fur around the house?
Gentle Brush is primarily a gentle daily grooming brush, not a deshedding tool. The mist keeps loose fur in the brush rather than letting it fly into the air — so fur is removed more cleanly and in a more controlled way. Best results come from regular daily use.
How do I clean it after use?
Fur collects on the surface of the bristles during use. Remove it by wiping with a finger or cloth after each session. Empty the water reservoir after use and wipe the brush dry. Do not rinse the brush directly under a tap, the device is not waterproof.
How long does the battery last?
A full charge lasts for multiple grooming sessions. The device charges via the included USB cable, you can charge it from a computer, wall adapter, or power bank. Charging takes approximately 20–30 minutes. We recommend charging fully before first use.
What if my pet refuses it?
That's completely normal. Leave the brush near your pet for a few days so they can sniff and get used to it. Start brushing without the mist using short gentle strokes on areas your pet enjoys — usually the back and neck. Add the mist only once your pet is comfortable with the brush itself. If your pet still doesn't tolerate it within 14 days, we'll refund 100% as store credit towards your next order.
